Mike Bartlett Returns To M. A. SILVA as General Manager

Santa Rosa, CA: Mike Bartlett will re-join M.A. Silva USA as its General Manager, reporting to Jose Silva, CEO and son of the founder of M.A. Silva and his team.

Mike has 25+ years of experience in senior leadership. Originally, he worked at M.A. Silva during the COVID years. And, according to his colleagues showed amazing leadership in a very trying time. Given the challenges facing the industry today, the M.A. Silva management team recognized the opportunity to bring back a leader who had worked with the M.A. Silva team and its product portfolio.

When asked why he made the decision to return to M.A. Silva, Mike simply stated, “The opportunity to lead a team that make the impossible happen on a daily basis”. But added, he is excited about, “Diving into leveraging the Micro Agglomerated and Technical investment, and upgrades to deliver world class products not only in M.A. Silva’s flagship natural cork – but also world-class micro and technical corks”.

As General Manager, Mike’s responsibilities will include: strengthening the leadership team to ensure it is prepared to take on any challenge now and in the future. Expanding M.A. Silva’s customer base with new products and expanded geographic reach. Finding efficiencies to support the industry with reduced risk, cost and more options to best suit our customers changing needs.
